The Centre for Scots Law will host an event entitled: 'A Review of the Review of the Regulation of Legal Services' by Esther Roberton (Senior Governor of the University Court of the University of Aberdeen). It will be chaired by Malcolm Combe, senior lecturer in law at the University of Aberdeen.

In this event, Esther Roberton will present on her recent involvement as Chair of the Review of the Regulation of Legal Services, which published its Report in October 2018. The Report, which made 40 recommendations to Scottish Ministers on reforming the way in which legal services in Scotland are regulated and complaints handled, has already prompted discussion and will underpin the work of the Scottish Government in this area.

This event is part of the syllabus for the postgraduate qualification, the Diploma in Professional Practice, and accordingly students enrolled for that course will be in attendance. Others are invited to enrol for this even online.

To register for this free event, please complete the booking form provided below.  The Event will held on Friday 13th September in Zoology ZG18 from 12.45-13.45.
