The University of Aberdeen's Student Association of International Petroleum Negotiators will welcome Uisdean Vass as their keynote speaker at the event on March 20th 2019.
Uisdean Vass is the regional director and coordinator of AIPN in Scotland; a consummate oil and gas lawyer with extensive international experience. He is a Partner and Head of Oil & Gas at Ledingham & Chalmers LLP, Aberdeen; is qualified in multiple jurisdictions and has over 35 years of oil industry experience covering the USA, Latin America, the UK North Sea, and many jurisdictions in Asia and Africa. He has co-authored one chapter (on MER) and contributed another chapter (on third party access) to recently published 3rd edition of Oil and Gas Law: Current Practice and Emerging Trends, edited by the Law School’s Dr Greg Gordon, Professor John Paterson and Dr Emre Usenmez.
We are delighted to have him speak on Maximising Economic Recovery - An International perspective. Professor John Paterson will attend the event.Light refreshments will be provided.
