Biography

As well as coordinating the work of the TaD team and helping ensure the University’s IT training needs are met, I am involved in writing and presenting IT courses, and in the design and authoring of printed and web-based materials in support of the University’s IT systems and services. I also line manage the Toolkit team.

I coordinate communications about IT Services for the University community, including promotion and publicity management, and writing and editing news items.

In 2017 my remit was extended to include support for the Engage Project1 and this work is ongoing.

A graduate of Gray’s School of Art (Aberdeen), I worked as a graphic designer and web designer before moving into IT training.

I have worked at the University of Aberdeen since 1990.
