Video Booths

Two purpose built video booths are available for booking through Outlook. The booths offer a quiet place to record a lecture or other video content. Each booth is equipped with a high-definition webcam and a professional microphone to record high-quality audio, a visualiser and a PC with dual displays. Each booth also has a fixed University of Aberdeen backdrop.

These facilities allow you to quickly and easily record presentations using the University's digital capture software (Panopto), which can then be shared with students through MyAberdeen. Your presentation could simply be you talking to camera, or you can also show PowerPoint slides or screen capture to emphasise key points. The facility has been designed so that it can be self-operated, although support is available from the Centre for Academic Development and The Media Services Team (Digital and Information Services Directorate).

To book the booths through Outlook, please search for FH-Polwarth-1M:002 (Video Booth) or OA-MacRobert-019 (Video Booth). If you are interested in using the video booths please contact the Centre for Academic Development in the first instance to discuss your requirements.

If you require technical assistance in the booth please call Media Services on Ext: 3000
