Mr Richard Browne

Biography

I came to work in Video and Film Production following a strong personal interest in the theatre (having been far more interested in working with the University’s own drama and theatre groups while studying for my degree here at the University of Aberdeen). I studied an HND in TV Operations and Production at Aberdeen College before going on to work as a Junior Editor for stv Aberdeen.

After leaving stv, I worked for 4 years in corporate video production in Aberdeen, onshore and offshore, before finding myself at the University. Since joining the University I have produced a wide variety of instructional, informational, promotional and live-event material, some of which can be seen on the University’s Youtube channel or on the University pages.

Outwith work, I retain a strong interest in Production having worked on several locally produced short-films and a couple of low-budget features. The Oscar’s in the post. Allegedly.
