What is happening?
IT Services has been made aware of a mobile app 'Appgrad', which purports to give single sign-in to University student services such as Blackboard, Library, email et.
We strongly advise students and staff not to use this app, as it has the potential to record personal University userids and passwords as well as Facebook credentials. Furthermore the company’s privacy policy (http://www.appgrad.co.uk/policy) states it can collect, share and sell personal data indefinitely.
What should you do?
Students and Staff wishing to access University services from their mobile devices should use the University’s mobile app, iAberdeen, available via http://www.abdn.ac.uk/mobile/
