Change to login in MyAberdeen due to change in EU law

What is happening?

The EU has introduced a new law relating to the use of Cookies. Cookies are small pieces of information stored on your computer which are used to store login, personalisation and tracking information.

The law requires website owners to alert users to the use of cookies on their website, to help them make an informed decision about the information that they share.

In order to comply with these new regulations, we have introduced a new screen to MyAberdeen which explains the use of cookies. These cookies keep you logged in and are essential for MyAberdeen to function.

What should you do?

The first time you log in to MyAberdeen you will be presented with a new screen providing details about the cookies and the options to Agree or Decline.

EU cookie law

You should click Agree.

Once you have clicked Agree you will be able to use MyAberdeen as normal and should not see further messages.
