What is happening?

At 7:45am this morning the DIT Data Centre in the Edward Wright Building experienced a full power outage.  All systems based in this Data Centre experienced an uncontrolled power down.  As a result, access to a number of systems was lost, this has impacted some internet access, internal websites, email, staff file storage and a number of corporate systems.  However, most key systems failed over to the backup data centre in the University Office Data Centre.

DIT System Engineers are currently working to restore all systems in the Edward Wright Data Centre, however, priority is being given to ensure exams can continue as scheduled.
