Information regarding the earlier network outage
You will be aware that there was an interruption to Network Services this lunchtime (12:15 to 12:50), and that the situation has now been rectified.
The cause of the issue was the failure of a switch in our core network. DIT Network engineers are continuing to monitor the situation and an investigation is now underway to determine the root cause.
What should you do?
You should now be able to access the network without any problems.
