Maintenance scheduled for 18:00-20:00, Thursday 24 September
What is happening?
DIT Service Engineers need to carry out additional maintenance, on the Telephone system supporting buildings EAST of the High Street this evening. This work will take place between 18:00-20:00 today, Thursday 24 September 2009. As a result all of the telephones within the following buildings will be out of service for 1 hour from 18:00 and potentially at risk for the remainder of the time:
- 23 St Machar Drive (Auris)
- Mac Robert
- Regent Building
- Taylor
- Kings
- New Kings
- Edward Wright
- William Guild
- Regent Walk (University Office)
Emergency telephones in the lifts for these buildings will be out of service from 18:00-19:00.
What should you do?
During this time, there may be some brief interruptions to telephone services, as a result we would recommend that you do not initiate or take any long calls during the outage. Additionally, as there will be no emergency telephones in the lifts between 18:00-19:00 you should not attempt to use the lifts during this time.
