Maintenance scheduled for 18:00-21:00, Wednesday 23 September
What is happening?
DIT Service Engineers will be carrying out planned maintenance, on the Telephone system supporting buildings EAST of the High Street this evening. This work will take place between 18:00 and 21:00 today, Wednesday 23 September 2009. As a result, all of the telephones within the following buildings will be out of service for 2 hours from 18:00 and potentially at risk for the remainder of the time:
23 St Machar Drive (Auris)
- Mac Robert
- Regent Building
- Taylor
- King's
- New King's
- Edward Wright
- William Guild
- Regent Walk (University Office)
Emergency telephones in the lifts for these buildings will be out of service from 19:00-20:00.
What should you do?
During this time, there may be some brief interruptions to telephone services, as a result we would recommend that you do not initiate or take any long calls during the outage. Additionally, as there will be no emergency telephones in the lifts between 19:00 and 20:00, you should not attempt to use the lifts during this time.
