Problem identified, access restored
What is happening?
Overnight IBM Technicians and DIT staff have restored access to the Foresterhill File Servers. The problem was related to numerous disk errors and inconsistencies within several disk arrays and these had to be manually recreated and restored.
What should you do?
You should now able to continue to work on your H: drive, and other networked drives. If you saved files, yesterday, to a local drive and require advice as to how to copy this back to the appropriate networked folder, please do not hesitate to contact us.
