The University website is being migrated to new storage servers starting from 5pm on Friday 24 July.
Impact of migration
The work will take place over the weekend and some services will not be back online until 9am on Monday 27 July.
The University website abdn.ac.uk and many associated services will be at risk for the whole weekend.
While many services will be online, as they have already been migrated to the new servers, but the shortcut you use to access the service exists within the University website, such as on StaffNet. Examples of services are Student Records and Admissions.
Some services will still be available using direct url:
•MyAberdeen - abdn.blackboard.com
•Library Resources - primo.abdn.ac.uk
What do you need to do?
Unless absolutely essential do not try and use the website and systems until 9am on Monday 27 July.
As part of a project we have been migrating all University files, folders and hosted services to new storage servers. This has been a long and complicated project. The website migration is the final item to be moved from the old storage servers.
What do you need to do after migration?
