The Infection and Immunity Programme embraces a range of research topics with emphasis on molecular mechanisms of infection and host defence. The programme includes the Centre for Bacteria in Health and Disease. The programme is a community of microbiologists, immunologists, clinicians and industry partners that use state-of-the-art research technologies to address fundamental questions and find new approaches to cure diseases.
