- Live cell imaging (Deltavision Core)
The Deltavision-RT system (purchased 2005), has recently been upgraded to provide faster multi-channel acquisition. The new DeltaVision Core (upgraded 2008) now has a newly redesigned 10-position excitation filter wheel and 6-position emission filter wheel and also a new motorised stage, plus EMCCD camera. The Deltavision is designed to get the best possible images from weakly fluorescent samples with minimum light exposure, and so is particularly suitable for live-cell imaging. Also the system has a new Lumencor solid state light source.
Advanced live-cell features including point-revisiting and time-lapse, real-time Z-sweep acquisition, autofocus and 3D image restoration/deconvolution. The system is fitted with a environmental control chamber.
