Idrisi Resource Centre

Idrisi Resource Centre

In 1995, the Clark Labs established the first Idrisi Resource Centre (IRC). These centres offer Idrisi-related resources for users. Each centre makes available basic information about Terrset, and many offer training in Terrset, host User's Meetings, and represent Clark Labs at local conferences. Some IRC's also distribute Terrset. In addition, IRC's may offer specific products and services designed to meet the needs of a local or linguistic community. Although closely linked to the Clark Labs, each centre operates as an independent project. They all have a common commitment to GIS education and research.

The Idrisi Resource Centre at the University of Aberdeen, established in 2001, currently offers support to all levels of the academic community from school Primary and Secondary Education to Further Education and Higher Education, the independent user, government and the commercial sector.
