The IAHS undertakes internationally competitive research in three strategic themes of work.  We conduct our work across a wide range of applied health sciences subjects which cover specialties in both clinical and non-clinical (methodological) areas of research.

Research Impact Strategy

An important element of our work is ensuring that it has impact outside academia: this can involve, for example, informing public policy debates and subsequent policy or providing evidence on the effectiveness and safety of specific managements for patients.
