HEADLINES: Talk Data Series
Professor Andrew Morris, Director of Farr Institute UK and Chief Scientist for Health in Scotland, visited the University and talked about Medicine in the Data Age and the UK Health Informatics Landscape and how he sees the recently announced plans for a UK Institute for Health and Biomedical Informatics Research developing.
A vibrant discussion followed with the audience of around fifty who were from diverse areas including health data science Researchers, Clinicians, Research Governance, NHS Grampian Information Governance, IT Programmers and Analysts, Research Co-ordinators, Social Scientists, Biomedical Scientists, Nutrition and Health Researchers, Bioinformaticians and Computing Scientists .
