Stephanie graduated with a Bachelor's degree in Health Sciences from the Hamburg University of Applied Sciences in 2017. Through her studies, she gained a deeper knowledge of planning and conducting surveys, analysing and interpreting health-related information and data; developing, collecting, analysing and interpreting data about the use of treatment and therapy success; epidemiology and research in public authorities, health insurance providers and professional associations.

In 2020, Stephanie graduated with a Master's degree in Health Sciences from the Hamburg University of Applied Sciences. The programme focused particularly on acquiring scientific and practical skills for public health research in epidemiology, diversity, occupational and environmental health, health promotion and behaviour, health economics and health policy.

Current Research
Stephanie joined the Epidemiology Group in March 2021 as a PhD student. Her PhD project is called ‘Epidemiology and Outcomes of Psoriatic Arthritis’. Here she will focus on analysing data from the BSR-PSA registry to investigate predictors of response to treatment.
Funding and Grants
Stephanie has been awarded the Elphinstone PhD Scholarship funded by the School of Medicine, Medical Sciences & Nutrition (SMMSN).
