Research

Research Overview

Management of a complex pragmatic multi-centre randomised controlled trial with two nested sub-studies investigating the effect of non-pharmacologic interventions on fatigue across multiple inflammatory rheumatic diseases.

Current Research

Study co-ordinator of the LIFT trial

Past Research

During my PhD and post-doc, I worked in the field of cardiovascular disease (CVD) with a focus on how dietary fatty acids modulate human platelet function in healthy volunteers at risk of CVD. I have experience in various methods to measure platelet function including flow cytometry. In addition, I am interested in proteomics, plasma fatty acid analysis using gas chromatography and analysis of vitamin D in foodstuff and humans.
