Biography

Divya began her PhD in the Health Economics Research Unit (HERU) in January 2018. Her PhD, entitled “Informing ‘realistic medicine’: can economic evaluations account for heterogeneity in care preferences?” aims to explore if preference heterogeneity can be incorporated into the economic evaluation of health care interventions, and how resulting policy recommendations may differ from those based on traditional evaluation methods. She has been awarded the Roy Weir PhD Studentship, which is supervised by Dr. Graham Scotland (HERU), Dr. Sebastian Heidenreich (Evidera and HERU) and Dr. Craig Ramsay (HSRU). Divya holds a B.Eng Degree in Biomedical Engineering from Nanyang Technological University and an MHS in Health Economics from Johns Hopkins University.
