HERU is seeking to appoint a Research Fellow in Health Economics for a period of 1-year. The postholder will provide analytical support for an existing project that is examining the impact of 'Minimum Unit Pricing for alcohol on food purchases' and provide research input for the Workforce and Organisation of Care theme to develop new projects and funding applications.
Appointees to Grade 6 level will be expected to have a PhD in economics/health economics or an MSc in economics/health economics plus prior experience that demonstrates the skills and capabilities required for this position. Candidates must have prior experience of econometric data analysis. Some familiarity with existing secondary panel datasets in health is also desirable.
Salary will be at the appropriate point on Grade 6, £34,304 - £37,467 per annum with placement according to qualifications and experience.
