Professor Terence Charles Daintith MA LLD
Terence Daintith is a distinguished academic lawyer. Professor Daintith, a law graduate of Oxford University, specialises in public law and has maintained a career-long interest in economic regulation, and pioneering the study of oil and gas law in the United Kingdom. He has held posts at the University of California at Berkeley, the University of Edinburgh, the University of Dundee where he held the Chair of Public Law, the European University Institute in Florence, and the University of London, where he was Director of the Institute of Advanced Legal Studies and Dean of the University's School of Advanced Study. He currently holds visiting professorial appointments at the University of Western Australia and the Universities of Melbourne and Sydney, teaching postgraduate law courses in oil and gas law, and in energy regulation.
