Please join us for a research seminar entitled "Increasing the public's interest in and support for autonomous vehicles", to be presented by Prof Simone Pettigrew, Research Professor in the School of Psychology at Curtin University in Western Australia. Prof Pettigrew is currently studying (i) attitudes to autonomous vehicles among a wide range of stakeholders and (ii) the resulting implications for efforts to increase public support for the introduction of these vehicles to facilitate rapid adoption. She will report on the results of two large-scale surveys that assessed awareness of the benefits of autonomous vehicles and the extent to which the public is receptive to information about these benefits. The results of a stakeholder analysis will also be provided, along with a series of policy recommendations.

The seminar will take place at noon on Thursday, 14th December in Meston G05. All are welcome to attend.
