A range of funding opportunities can be found by searching the University of Aberdeen's central funding database .

Other sources of funding include:

• General information about funding sources is available through tne central Student Resources Web Pages
• Research postgraduates who are UK residents or citizens of an EU country can apply for studentships from the Nature and Environment Research Council (NERC) or the Arts and Humanities Research Council (AHRC)
• Applications to external funding bodies such as the Wenner Gren Foundation are also encouraged
