MR JOHN GRAHAM
John W Graham's first degree was BA Hons English Studies (1974), with a special interest in theory, linguistics and creativity. He retired from senior management in 2011 and returned to academia to renew his interest in archaeology. In 2016 he received an MSc in Archaeology from the University of Aberdeen; his dissertation investigated how changes in Anglo-Saxon burial patterns might be interpreted as signalling changes in ideas of self.
His archaeological interests include theory, the Middle Palaeolithic, Mesolithic Scotland and early Mediaeval History.
His present research is into changes in academic perception of Homo neanderthalensis.
