Archaeology Society

Aberdeen University Archaeology Society is a group for all those studying archaeology at the University of Aberdeen or for anyone who has an interest in the past.

The society aims to complement the student’s life here in Aberdeen in several areas:

• social events such as pub nights and movie nights occur frequently
• field trips and experimental archaeology sessions are offered for those of the more adventurous persuasion
• seminar series organized and presented by society members will run regularly and remain open for all

The society is great for meeting like minded people or for enjoying the company of course mates, and can serve as a useful forum for students of all year groups, helping to foster interest in archaeology outside of your lectures.
