On- Campus Course- Biological Wastewater Treatment and Anaerobic Digestion: Theory, Design and Practice

The University of Aberdeen is delighted to offer this IChemE Approved on-campus CPD Course which is aimed at professionals and PhD students working in the areas of biological wastewater treatment and anaerobic digestion.

This advanced course describes how to optimise and design biological wastewater treatment and anaerobic digestion processes in order to maximise treatment efficiency while minimising the capital and operating costs.

As well as on-campus learning, participants will have up to 6 months unlimited access from registering to study all the course lectures and materials on our custom-built study platform, designed for ease of use. A CPD certification will be awarded in completion of the course. 

The course fee includes lectures and tutorials on campus, lunch, refreshments, and access to the course materials online.

The IChemE-approved in-person course taking place from 4 - 8 September 2023 at Fraser Noble Building will take you through all aspects of biological wastewater treatment. The course will explore the fundamentals and real-life application and you will receive a CPD Certification upon completion.

The course lecturer Professor Davide Dionisi has over 20 years of experience, gained both in academia and in the industry. He will lead your lectures and tutorials and you will be able to engage in discussions, ask all your questions and gain from his expertise in biological wastewater treatment and process engineering.

Venue

The course will take place in the Fraser Noble Building located in the heart of the Old Aberdeen campus. Next to the magnificent Sir Duncan Rice Library. You can travel to the venue by car, on foot or by bus with bus stops located at just a 2-minute walk away.
