Bus Services

Stagecoach run a number of buses linking Aberdeen city centre to the main entrance of ARI, from there it is only a short 2 minute walk to the Suttie Centre. Number 59 is the Hospital direct bus and leaves from Guild street outside St Magnus House, numbers 37,35 and 10 all leave from the Bus station in Union Square. From the Airport to City Centre

Stagecoach Bluebird Bus-Jet Service 727

The Jet Service 727 will take you direct from Aberdeen Union Square bus station to Aberdeen Airport terminal. The fleet of Jet 727 buses feature contactless payments, leather seats, free wi-fi and USB charging available on board. 

The service runs on a 10-minute frequency throughout the day Monday - Friday and up to every 20 minutes at the weekend. Running 7 days a week.

Cash payments (change given) and many vehicles are fitted with Chip & PIN payment terminals (a transaction charge applies).

Journey Times:

In light traffic, a journey to Aberdeen International Airport from the Suttie Centre takes about about 18 minutes and costs roughly £20-£25. A journey from the Suttie Centre to the city centre takes roughly 10 minutes and would cost roughly £10-£15.

Fares and journey times will be greater when traffic is heavy. Please ensure you provide plenty of time to book your taxi.

Travelling by Car or Motorcycle

Please be aware that no parking facilities are available in the ARI site for the Suttie Centre but some limited Pay and Display parking is available on both Westburn Road and Ashgrove Road West. Alternatively First Bus run the X40 bus service which links ARI to the Kingswells and Bridge of Don Park and Rides.

Entering the city from the south or west, follow signs for the A90 (Fraserburgh and Peterhead). This leads round the ring road (Anderson Drive). Exit right (A9011) onto Ashgrove Road West, then turn right at the traffic lights onto Foresterhill Road and follow the signs to the Suttie Centre. From the north, Foresterhill is approached via the A96 (from Dyce and Inverness) and the A90 (from Peterhead) and thence to the A90 (North) Anderson Drive.
