International Women's Day which falls on the 8th of March each year, has been celebrated across the world since the early 1900's. Originally, its aim was to provide a forum for women to campaign for equality and women’s rights. Over time, it has evolved and now in March each year, thousands of events are held throughout the world to recognise the progress that has been made, to inspire women and to celebrate their achievements.
Join us as we celebrate International Women's Day with a programme of online events taking place from Monday 8 - Saturday 13 March 2021.
Events will center around the official campaign theme #ChoosetoChallenge - choose to challenge and call out gender bias, discrimination and stereotypes.
