The University of Aberdeen is proud to present Season 4 of Director's Cut - a series of events celebrating the art of Filmmaking.

Bend It Like Beckham (2002) starring Keira Knightly and Parminder Nagra is one of the highest grossing British films in cinema history, and its director, Gurinder Chadha is one of the country's most successful filmmakers. Her award-winning films include Bhaji on the Beach (1993), What's Cooking? (2000), Bride and Prejudice (2004), Angus, Thongs and Perfect Snogging (2006) and It's a Wonderful Afterlife (2010).
