Information for incoming staff

Staff Teaching Mobility (STA)

The University of Aberdeen welcomes staff from partner institutions for teaching mobility. In order to take part, you should ensure that a bilateral agreement for teaching exchange between your home University and the University of Aberdeen has been signed in your subject area. If an exchange agreement is in place and you are able to secure funding from your home university, you are welcome to contact the relevant Go Abroad Tutor in Aberdeen in order to discuss whether you might be able to contribute to a programme of study. It is advisable to do this as far in advance as possible in order to arrange for your teaching to be integrated into the existing programme.

Staff Training Mobility (STT)

The University of Aberdeen also welcomes staff from partner institutions (and other HEIs holding an Erasmus Charter) for training mobility. In order to take part, please email the Erasmus Unit with details of your training requirements and we will put you in contact with the relevant department to explore whether we could support your visit. It is advisable to do this as far in advance as possible in order for us to devise a training programme that will be useful for you and your home institution.
