Research Overview
Develop a hybrid control system that combines traditional controllers with artificial intelligence for robust control of a dynamic drilling system to mitigate the Drill string vibrations.
Optimize the drilling efficiency (Rate of penetration) using Machine learning techniques and optimization algorithms which provide the optimal controlling parameters (WOB/RPM) that mitigate the drillsting vibrations and improve the overall performance.
