Researcher led tour with hands-on demonstrations and activities.

Artificial technology is uniquely placed to provide solutions to major challenges facing society today, from climate change and the energy transition to healthcare and digital transformation in industry and government.

Today, researchers from across the University are creating and designing these technological solutions.

Robots have already begun to revolutionise activities throughout our lives and in industries such as transport, healthcare, energy, and manufacturing. Meet researchers from the Artificial Intelligence, Robotics and Mechatronic Systems Group (ARMS) on this guided tour of the newly established Robotics lab and find out about the state-of-the-art and latest research taking place. Visitors will have the opportunity to see experimental set-ups including a humanoid robot, an industrial robotic arm, a mobile service robot, and a swarm of microrobots in action.
