Being Human: a festival of the humanities | 17–25 November 2016
The Being Human Festival is an exciting UK-wide Festival in November which engages the public with the latest research taking place across the humanities. The Festival is supported by a collaboration of the Arts and Humanities Research Council (AHRC), the British Academy and the School of Advanced Study, University of London, and draws together a programme of activities to inform, extend, and ignite our contemporary thinking and imagination. The focus of the festival is on activities that make humanities research accessible to the general public and that demonstrate the role of the humanities in the cultural, intellectual, political and social life of the UK.
