Elphinstone Institute at the May Festival

The Elphinstone Institute is hosting a number of events over the May Festival weekend at the University of Aberdeen, 26-28 May 2017.
Come along to the James Madison Carpenter Song Collection Workshop and learn about the wealth of traditional songs, ballads and folk plays, and experience Celebrating Evolving Tradition from a diverse range of creative influences. The Polish-Scottish Singing Group will perform songs from both countries, and Celebrating North-East Writing with readings and performances of stories and poems celebrating the work of contemporary North-East writers.
