My practice is driven by a passion for experimenting with new technologies and a desire to use them effectively to widen and improve learning opportunities for adult and professional learners. My research explores learners’ and teachers’ experiences of digital learning and the use of technology to create flexible, authentic and learner-centred learning experiences. My work with a wide range of technologies requires interdisciplinary working and collaboration across all sectors of education. Projects currently being undertaken include investigations into effective online collaboration for vocational educators, learner-centred practice in live online environments and the use of technology to support Masters project supervisors.
