I am a Senior Lecturer in Science and Sustainability Education. I believe research in education is a powerful vehicle for change and for creating our future. In my work, I study creative pedagogies to enable us, as a community, to re-connect with the environment and the people around us and to find new and sustainable ways of living.
I welcome students on my courses which are designed to bring people together to discuss, reflect and deepen understanding of ourselves in the natural world which is supporting us. I work with colleagues internationally.
I am a member of the Interdisciplinary Research Institute on sustainability (IRIS) an international observatory bringing together people who are deeply committed to build awareness of environmental issues to develop sustainable forms of food production; energy distribution but also to educate through spiritual and pedagogical practices that could enable us to imagine a better world.
