My research interests are focussed on the interlinked areas of inclusion and wellbeing, underpinned by a commitment to social justice and the provision of high quality learning experiences for all children. I endeavour to build reciprocal links between my roles as researcher and teacher educator, through developing research-informed courses, and by working with teachers to further explore theoretical ideas in practice. In my role as Joint Director of the Master’s level Inclusive Practice Programme I work with teachers across Scotland and internationally to bring the notion of ‘inclusive pedagogy’ alive in classroom practice.
