Aberdeen University Lawyers Without Borders in conjunction with ELSA Aberdeen are hosting a Human Rights conference on Thursday 12th March 2015

Cultural Practices vs. Human Rights: How can International Law curb Female Genital Mutilation as an entrenched cultural practice?

The conference will take the format of a panel discussion. The panel will consist of 4 speakers and one moderator discussing the issue of Female Genital Mutilation as a cultural practice and how International law can prevent it. The Panel discussion will be followed by an audience Q&A session.
