Research Overview
My research interests lie within the area of Early Years education and also questions around professionalism, qualifications and conditions of employment for staff employed within the area of Early Learning and Childcare.
Current Research
Currently investigating the impact on practice of Masters level qualifications in Early Years.
Also part of EU Erasmus + team (with Sweden, Austria and Czech Republic) looking at the role of the pre-school in integration of migrant / refugee families. KINDINMI project

Teaching Responsibilities
I teach on Undergradaute programmes in Childhood Practice which is an online, distance learning programme. also on MA Initial Teacher Education programme. i also carry out practice based assessments in primary schools of ITE students.
I teach on Masters courses in Early Years Education.
