Teaching Slavery in Scotland (Workshop)

This workshop is part of a year-long programme of events running alongside the exhibition, 'Legacies of Slavery: Transatlantic Slavery and Aberdeen'.

This workshop will feature a tour of the new exhibition about Aberdeen and slavery, alongside short talks from Richard Anderson, Lecturer in the History of Slavery at Aberdeen University, Christine Whyte, Lecturer in Global History at the University of Glasgow, and others.

The workshop will be of particular interest to those teaching History in Scottish secondary schools but is open to anyone interested in the teaching of this subject. All welcome.
