Biography: Son of William Clark; born Aberdeen, 11 September 1882. M.A., 1908; B.Sc., 1911. Biologist, Shackleton ""Imperial Trans-Antarctic Expedition, 1914-16"". Sub-Lieutenant, R.N.V.R., 5 January 1917. Served - North Sea, January 1917-May 1919. Final rank, Lieutenant.
