Biography: Son of George Cassie; born Duffus, 6 March 1877. M.A., 1897; M.B. (Hons.), 1901; Lizars, Anderson Gold, Medals. War work - Recruiting M.O., Royal Naval Division, Glasgow. Lieutenant, R.A.M.C., 27 August 1915; attached to 7th Scottish Rifles. Served-Gallipoli, Egypt, September 1915-August 1916; Home, 1916-18.
