(Hons.), 1914; Matthews Duncan Gold, Keith Gold, Medals; Murray Medal and Scholarship; Lyon, Alex. Ogston, Prizes. Commissioned, R.A.M.C, April 1915. Served- France, 1915-16; Home, 1916-17; Salonika, 1917-19. Final rank, Captain.
