Biography: Son of Robert H. Burnett; born Hampstead, 31 May 1868. M.B., 1891. Commissioned, Indian Medical Service, 1892. Mobilized Lieutenant-Colonel, commanding No.6 Combined Field Ambulance, No.25 Indian General Hospital, No.57 C.S. Hospital, Senior Medical Officer, Karum Front. Served—N.W. Frontier, 1915-16; Mesopotamia, 1916-17; Persia, 1917-18; Mesopotamia, 1918. Final rank, Lieutenant-Colonel.
