Biography: Son of Charles Bruce; born Bucksburn, 13 September 1898. Law, 1920- . War work - Red Cross Ambulance, Aberdeen, 1914-17. Private, 2/1st Lovat's Scouts, January 1917; transferred to 1st Cameron Highlanders; 14th Argyll and Sutherland Highlanders. Served - Home, 1 year; France, Belgium, 1 year. Final rank, Acting Corporal.
