Biography: Son of Robert H. Brooks; born Alloa, 9 April 1862. M.B., 1887; M.D., 1892. Major, R.A.M.C., 12 August 1915. Attached as Officer in command, Mile-end Military Hospital, London, 2 years. Lieutenant-Colonel, May 1917. Relinquished Commission from ill health, November 1917.
