Bremner, James Morrison Gardiner

Biography: Son of Alexander Bremner; born Rathven, Banffshire, 23 August 1866. M.B., 1894. Surgeon-Lieutenant, 1st Volunteer Battalion Norfolk Regiment, 1902. Mobilized August 1914. Attached to 2nd East Anglian Field Ambulance, R.A.M.C. (T.F.). Served—Gallipoli (Suvla Bay landing); Canal Defences; Gaza and Palestine operations. Final rank, Acting Lieutenant-Colonel. O.B.E., 1919. T.D., 1919. Mentioned in despatches, 1918.
