Biography: Son of James P. Begg; born New Deer, 9 July 1879. M.B., 1903. Lieutenant, R.A.M.C, 8 October 1914, attached to the West Riding Field Ambulance. Served - Home, 8 months; France, Belgium, April 1915-February 1917; Salonika, December 1917-November 1918. Final rank, Captain.
